How it works

CognitEye is a smart vision assistant, an intelligent device that understands and describes the world to the blind and visually impaired people. The CognitEye system has a wearable device which is a pair of glasses with two embedded cameras and stereo bone conduction headphone.

The wearable device transmits the captured videos to a smartphone via a WiFi connection.

The verbal messages is presented to the user via a stereo bone conduction headphones.

CognitEye app analyzes afterwards the videos and then extracts the semantic concepts.
